Congratulations on your engagement and welcome to wedding planning! It might seem overwhelming, but with the right people on your squad, its a breeze. I’m one of those people.

Ever wonder why shooting with me is such a good time? I’m laid back but directive. I’m a master at candids and at getting that shot your grandma will want to put on her mantel to show off to all of her friends. I’m fun and personable without being distracted. I’m organized without being stressed. I will make sure your day goes according to plan. I’ll straighten out those rowdy groomsmen and make sure every detail is perfect. I love getting to know you, your bridal party and your guests. I’ve also been known to shed a few (alligator) tears. I love immersing myself into your day and your story.

Hourly Wedding Coverage $400/hour

  • 2 hours minimum

    Every wedding day looks different. My wedding days range from the couple who wants to meet in a park for photos, get married in their backyard with a casual get together to the couple with a large bridal party and a big reception. After seeing such a huge range in my inquiries I decided to break down my packages per hour. I love being a part of your day whether it is a big shindig or an intimate gathering.

    $500 deposit due at booking. Final hour count can be decided on later (or now if you know!)
    You might think you want 4 and then as time goes on, you decide on 6. I love being flexible and working with you to find the coverage that fits your needs.
    Travel fee applies to weddings outside of the Grand Rapids area.

  • I would be more than happy to do something custom for you. Please inquire with me and I’d love to chat with you. I’ll use my best judgment in giving you a quote. Trying to cram an 8 hour day into 5 hours is not recommended. Custom packages are reserved for those who are having a more intimate experience.

  • I am a big believer in getting as many photos with your family and guests as possible. Family photos are so important to me. Sometimes friends are more like family and I love the energy of that and how the room feels when everyone who loves you is buzzing around you. I love joy and intimacy, I love watching people on the dance floor, chatting with your guests on the patio and human interaction in general. I also really strive at and love the portrait portion of the day.

  • Engagement sessions have a 2.5 - 3 week turn around time and weddings are 5-8 weeks. I also typically include a preview gallery before your final gallery delivery.

  • We can do your engagement session whenever/wherever you want! They last about 45 minutes - 1 hour and are included in your wedding package. A travel fee may apply outside of the Grand Rapids area. You’re welcome to an outfit change (or two!) I have tons of locations up my sleeve and am open to your idea boards. Save the dates should go out about 6 months before your wedding so take that into consideration too.

  • Absolutely. I love to travel, especially along the lakeshore and to the Upper Peninsula. Anywhere within 45 minutes of Grand Rapids included. Further distances are approximately $50/driving hour. Inquire for an exact quote. Example: Traverse City would be an additional $200-250. Weddings over 1.5 hours distance outside of the West Michigan area require one night of provided accommodation.

  • I’d love to schedule a call (or an awkward video chat) to learn more about you and your wedding. The next step would be going over and signing your wedding contract along with a $500 deposit to seal in your wedding date. The remaining amount isn’t due until a couple weeks before your wedding date. If you’re undecided on your package now, thats okay! The deposit will cover both.

  • Checks are preferred but you can also pay via credit card, PayPal or Venmo.

  • As we will review in your contract, deposits are non-refundable due to cancellations. For weddings needing to reschedule, as long as I have the date available, your deposit is transferred to your new date. No need for a second deposit and there is no rescheduling fee. The pandemic has called for all of us to be flexible so I just ask you communicate with me as much as possible so we can reschedule vs. cancel.
